Story

This is a linear game where you’ll spend a few days in the town. During these days, you can relax and enjoy the slow pace of life and dive into a romance story with these NPCs. - Time System
The game features six time periods: early morning, morning, afternoon, evening, night, and late night. Moving around the map doesn’t advance time, only events will. (Like Dead Dating) - Explore the Town
The game features a side-scrolling map with limited areas to explore. Within this town, there are five potential romantic interests. Can you win the heart of your chosen one? - SFW/NSFW Switch
The game allows switching between SFW and NSFW modes without affecting the storyline, only altering certain dialogues and CG images.

Special Story Characters
Characters from Dead Dating who are connected to these NPCs will make a cameo appearance in the storyline.
Built-in Event Tree
You can check the event tree for all the major events in the game, which allows you to know that you missed a major event, but how to get to that event is on your own.

When will the mobile version release
Delays are one thing, but remaining completely radio silent for four months is another. No official staff responded on Discord, and Mr. Ryu hasn't posted a single progress update during this entire time. What on earth have you been doing?
If you encountered difficulties or force majeure that would prevent the game from launching on time, you would have known or foreseen this by February or March at the latest. As long as a developer provides advance notice, backers are usually more than willing to be understanding. But he didn't. He just went missing. This is incredibly irresponsible to those who sponsored you.
Honestly, if the author had actually been working on this for the past four months, there would definitely be something to share on social media. It’s glaringly obvious now that the progress is severely lagging, to the point where there is nothing even worth showing. It makes one wonder: did you hit a massive technical bottleneck, or have you simply not been working on it at all?
I’ve made my point clear. I advise everyone to stop asking about the progress. No one from the official team is going to reply anyway. We’ll only find out where this game stands when the 'promised' release date rolls around again, or whenever they feel like it.
Oh, and by the way, for those who don't know, the game has already been delayed until the end of August.

Hey buddy, you didn't put much effort into finding it. Check out Mr. Ryu's latest Patreon post. And don't worry, we can wait, I'd rather he didn't release it on time and made a game with awesome CGI animations, a lot of work and love, instead of a flat, basic one.
The author mentioned above that due to the high standards for the quality of their work, they have produced a bit too much content, which has led to a delay in completing everything by the expected time. Now, they are saying that the itch version will be released around mid-April, and the Steam version will be available in either June or July (they can't quite remember). If you, my friend, are willing to wait for a while, I'll go to the original post and copy the text directly over.

Hey everyone,
I'm really sorry I've been heads down on work lately. Stefan hasn't had time to help me out, so I haven't been able to update you all on my dev progress.
I'm bummed to say that the Itch version of "Those NPCs' Love Stories" is getting pushed back to late April 2026, and the Steam version to late June.
The delay is due to some unexpected stuff, plus I've remade all the character 3D models. I wanted them to look more like portrait-style CGs, so I spent a ton of time on that.
I've also invested time in learning new tech to bring 2D CG to life. Alongside the existing Spine animations, I hope the teaser CG Clip will immerse you further in the narrative and spark your imagination.
Here's what's changing:
Main game delayed: Itch version to late April 2026, Steam to late June.
Reward game release: December 30, 2026
Full upgrade and remake of all 3D NPC models
Added intro CG Clips before CG events
These additions are all to make the game experience better, so I hope you'll understand the delay.
Stefan will be back next month after wrapping up his personal stuff, and then the community will be back to normal with quick replies and updates.
